一. Summarize: Since the first application of it in wharf in 1904, the quick cable-releasing equip was widely used in occidental wharf because its merits of safety、reliable、labor-saving and shortcut. Along with the constructing and the changing of modern wharf, it has become the development trend that the quick cable-releasing equip instead of primitive dolphin. In order to provide a safety and convenient power to the quick cable-releasing equip, our company has united Jiangsu Dazhong Electric Motors Co.LTD to develope the YB2EJ series electromagnetic brake flameproof three-phase asynchronous electrics motors. At the same time, we can provide Y2EJ series electromagnetic brake non-flameproof three-phase asynchronous electrics motors. Our electromagnetic brake motor used in quick cable-releasing equip (flameproof and non-flameproof) all use AC brake. The motor and brake can work for 60 minutes at a stretch (S2). Because there is no rectifier device and cooling fan, it has the merits of compact conformation、high Protection class and flameproof degree and convenient to use and maintain. The types of YB2EJ series electromagnetic brake flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors (frame H132~H160) have 4P-5.5KW, 4P-7.5KW,4P-11KW, it all comply with a standard--- GB3836.1-200 《Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres---Part 1: General requirements》, GB3836.1-200 《Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres---Part 2: Flameproof enclos ure “d”》. Its flameproof mark is dxdⅡBT4.

五.The sketch of primary structure
1. The junction box (接线盒) of this series motor lie the top or left or right of the motor. It would be applicable to rubber sheath cable (橡套电缆)(plastic cable). This series motor have six wire connecting terminals and one built-in ground terminal, and each one is made to a outlet according to its specification;
2. For primary structure of this series motor is shown as in FIG.1, the junction box is shown as in FIG.2, the brake is shown as in FIG.5;
3. The connection method is delta-connection. (the factory default);

六. The essential of explosion proof
1. Because this type of motor is explosion-proof, it need when the explosive mixtures explode, the explosion-resistant enclosure shouldn’t be damage and the flame inside shouldn’t arouse explode, so:
A: The element of explosion-resistant enclosure, such as frame, end closure, bearing’s inner cup, junction box cover, the shell of junction box base and so on, must be finish machining and testing by the 1.0Mpa and for 10~12S hydraulic pressure.
B: The length, gap, surface’s roughness of flameproof joint, the bare conductors in junction box, the gap between the bare conductors and metal shell , the creep age distance and so on, above all showed in Fig.1 and Fig2.
C: All the bolts which joint the explosion-resistant enclosure match retaining washer to prevent looseness.
D: It is the explosion-proof part such as frame, end closure, bearing’s inner cup, junction box cover, the shell of junction box base, wire connecting bolt, connecting-wire sheath (or patching board), shaft and casting ring.
2. In the rated duty, the temperature of motor shell’s surface is below that which showed in Table 5, and the service entrance is below the permitted temperature of cable so that it can normal work.

七.Installation and use
1. Preparatory work before installation
1.1 Check visually if the packing box of motor are intact before open it;
1.2 After open the box, you should clear carefully the dust and antirust seal;
1.3 Before use the motor, you should check the following. After all are qualified, you can use it.
A. There are a mark of flame-proof and qualified number;
B. The parts of explosion-resistant enclosure must be joint correctly and stable and reliable;
C. All the parts should not have the crackle and the defect which affect its explosion-proof performance;
D. Grease lubricant, oiling device and discharge equipment must be unclog;
E. The insulating resistance between stator winding and motor’s shell that isn’t below 0.38MΩ when the Voltage rating is 380V. 2. You should attention the correct precision of matching between the shaft extension end of motor and coupler, otherwise it can arouse the noise and the vibration of bearing;
3. The joint between motor and feed cable
3.1 The outside diameter of power lead-in cable should conform with the casting ring’s. The material of casting ring is Rubber XH-21, its specification and size are showed in Fig.3(you can change the diameter by divesting the casting ring). The fit tolerance is less-than 1mm. You should assure the clearance between the casting ring and cable, casting ring and junction box frame, otherwise its explosion-proof performance will to fail.
3.2 The wire core of lead-in cable should be joint between two arcuate washers. You should pay attention to the buckle outward of wire lead. The lead-in cable must be fix by connection pressure pad to prevent moving.
3.3 There are six terminals- U1、V1、W1(brake supply terminals)U2、V2、W2(motor supply terminals) in the junction box. When using non-variable-frequency power sources, the power source can connect anyone terminal. On the other hand, you must dismantled the connecting sheet on all the terminals. The power supplies of motor and brake should be separately. (The brake should be connected variable-frequency power sources.)
3.4 The motor’s phase sequence(U、V、W) must corresponding to external power’s(A、B、C ), the rotating direction of motor is clockwise from the shaft extension, otherwise it will reverse.

3.5 All the bolts should be reliably grounded;
3.6 You should not power-on and no-load running until after checking its connection. If all are normal, it can do load running.
3.7 After the casting ring in lead-in equipment ageing, you should change it in time. Its size is showed in FIG.3. The min. outer diam. of usable castle is showed in stable.
八. Maintenance
1. The motor should do regular inspection and clearing. There haven’t dust on the shell. Strictly prohibit played the hose on it.
2. The permitted temperature of bearing is below 95℃ when the motor is running. The bearing should be check per 2500h ( about half a year). If the grease lubricant is metabolous, you should change it after clearing out the outer bearing cover、slop oil in swab case, vitta and oil cup of oiling device and discharge equipment and clear out the bearing with gasoline. The grease lubricant is the 3rd epinoc grease (GB7324-87). When higher 4 grade, dosage is 2/3. The trademark of bearing is showed in table 7.
3. Pay attention to protect the flame-proof surface. The motor which flame size between H80 to H120 hasn’t outer bearing cap. Using the thackeray washer to achieve the axial direction locking of bearing installing hole. When disassembling the motor, the sequence as follow: the Axial-Wellendichtringe V-Ring, front end housing, the brake’s shield, the set bolt of back-end shield, back-end shield and rotor be extracted as the same time. Then taking off the brake, back-end shield and end ring be take off as the same time, taking off the end ring. So the brake can be taken off. When install the motor, the sequence is reverse.①Before install the brake, it should be get rid of duty and , oil stain. Before the brake is dry type, it should b, e running without oil that can avoid to influent the restraining torque. ②Before install brake, the mounting screw should be adjusted at specified working air-gap-δ. After that, screwing out the hollow stay bolt and pulling on the back-end shield.) After mounting the shell, the installation of motor is finished. But the frame-proof surface should be painted 204-1 antirust grease
4. It must be dry after the motor is damp. Which method can be parch or short circuit current. In the drying process, the winding temperature will rise, but you must ensure it below 155℃. When use the short circuit current, the input circuit current should be 0.6-0.8 times the rated current. The drying of badly damp motor should not use DC type that to avoid being electrolysis.
5. When changing the winding, the type, size, number of turns and wire gauge should be written down. Then you can ask maker for them when they are lost. Don’t to change the original designed winding to avoid some function of motor badly which can make motor not to work.
6.Changing the brake or its friction disk: ①The friction disk is easily replaced. It should be changed when the disk surface is parallel with the metal core. The operating sequence is: unloading shield, separating cable’s rosette from the brake, loosing the construction bolt, dismantling the brake, removing the friction disk along the spline tooth, changing friction disk, installing them according to the reverse sequence of above at last. ②If want to change the brake, the operating sequence is the same as above. ③ In the condition of off position, if it need to adjust the transmission agent, you can use manual mode to do it. The operating sequence is: unloading shield, winding up (释放?) two bolts until it can rotate the shaft extension by hand. After adjusting, must be loose (left-hand ) two bolts. Otherwise, the brake will fault in function.
